Southern Kings team bolstered for Chiefs

Southern Kings Head Coach Deon Davids has made a few changes to his side that lost 8 - 42 to the Cell C Sharks at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium a fortnight ago.

Davids had the luxury of choosing his best possible team and rotate some players as he had all his players fit and available for selection. Stefan Watermeyer, Jaco van Tonder, Kevin Luiters and Jacobie Adriaanse all returned to the training field and have been slotted in to do duty against the Gallagher Chiefs on Saturday.

Steven Sykes has yet again been entrusted with the captain's arm band.

Watermeyer and Louis Fouche comes in at outside centre and flyhalf respectively to gain their first start as the only changes to the backline.

Adriaanse, who had recovered from a concussion, comes in at tighthead to replace Tom Botha who moves down to the bench. At hooker Edgar Marutlulle comes in for Martin Ferreira.

Amongst the replacements, Kevin Luiters, Jaco van Tonder and Martin Bezuidenhout comes in to add some experience to the bench.
